We want everyone who visits the Phenom Yachts website to feel welcome and to find the experience rewarding.
To help make this a positive place for everyone, we follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and more usable for everyone.
The guidelines have three levels of accessibility — A, AA and AAA. We have chosen Level A as the target for the Phenom Yachts website.
We reviewed the site against the AA criteria in August 2026 and adopted several of them anyway. Text contrast, the contrast of form fields and other controls, and a visible keyboard focus indicator on every link and button now meet the AA thresholds across the site. The boat customizer is operable by keyboard, closes on Escape and returns focus to where it came from, and every film carrying speech is captioned.
We did not take AA as our target. It asks for audio description — a spoken commentary describing the action on screen — over our films, and we have decided not to add one. We would rather hold to a level we meet than name one we do not.
We hold this site to Level A. These are the things we know are still open, including the ones above our target that we have decided not to take on.
Audio Description (Prerecorded)
Our films would need a spoken commentary describing what is on screen. This is an AA criterion, above the level we hold this site to, and we have decided not to add one. Every film carrying speech is captioned.
Reflow
Whether every template reflows without sideways scrolling on a 320 pixel screen has not been measured across the whole site. Also an AA criterion, above our target.
If you enjoyed using this site, or if you had trouble with any part of it, please get in touch. We would like to hear from you in any of these ways.
