The Evolution of the Stepped Hull

Innovative Design Features

Average Entry of 65 Degrees:
The hull's entry angle of 65 degrees allows it to cut through water with minimal bow steering, ensuring a smoother, more efficient ride.

3 Strakes Design:
The forward section features three strakes, providing the same lift as a traditional two-strake design but with reduced slamming and improved speed and handling. The strakes are set at 0 degrees, enhancing bow lift without causing pounding, giving the Phenom 37 the sensation of riding on rails.

Transducer Keel Flat:
A keel flat runs through the hull's center, housing the transducer in a pocketed area. This design eliminates drag, enhancing overall performance.

Advanced CFD Analysis:
Our design team utilized Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to perfect the hull's shape, running numerous simulations to identify and resolve performance issues. This rigorous process ensured the hull met our high standards before production.

Step Side Vents:
To optimize aeration of the steps, we've included shutter steps in front of the step radius, preventing water from wrapping around and entering behind the step.

45-Degree Chamfer Edges:
Inspired by race boat techniques, the strakes' edges are chamfered at 45 degrees, reducing water adhesion and drag, resulting in higher top-end speeds.

Power and Control

Twin and Triple Engine Setups:
The Phenom 37 is designed to accommodate twin or triple engine setups, achieving top speeds over 70 mph and cruising speeds around 40 mph with an efficiency of just over a mile per gallon.

Zipwake Dynamic Trim-Control System:
This advanced trim system enhances ride comfort, performance, and fuel efficiency, controlled via an intuitive single-button interface.
