In Episode 4 of Phenom Yacht's "The Build" we are taking an in-depth look at a specific Phenom 37 and more importantly, showcasing one of the largest customizations ever undertaken on a Phenom Yacht.

Our journey begins by revisiting the Phenom 37, which has been meticulously designed to accommodate a Marlin Tower. The key component needed for this customization is the newly crafted hardtop, which features three significant modifications to support the Marlin Tower.

First, we implemented a scalloped aft section, allowing for seamless integration of the ladder on both port and starboard sides. This design ensures easy access to the second station and provides a clean, streamlined appearance.

Second, we enlarged and reinforced the standing platform. This platform is nearly double the size of the standard hardtop and has been strengthened with additional core material to support the weight of one to two people standing on it.

Third, we relocated the radar mounting surface in front of the standing platform. This adjustment provides clearance for the radar to spin and ensures it does not obstruct access to the Marlin Tower.

After detailing the hardtop modifications, we moved to Ross Marine, located just outside of downtown Charleston, South Carolina. This world-class facility assisted in lifting and securing the Marlin Tower onto the Phenom 37. The installation process involved hard fitting the tower and running cables through the pipes to ensure all components are connected and operational.

With the tower securely mounted, our team ran wiring harnesses through the hardtop down to the console, ensuring all systems function correctly at both the helm and the second station. After thorough testing and verification, the Phenom 37 was ready for its water trial.

The final test run showcased the Marlin Tower's excellent visibility and performance. Our team was thrilled with the customization and excited for future fishing expeditions.
